Factors that go into DJ Event Pricing
No single event is the same as the requirements can largely vary, thus pricing cannot be the same for every event. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the details of your event. With just a little bit of key information, I can quickly, over the phone, provide you with an accurate final pricing quote for your event.
I do offer bundled event packages and feel very confident that the pricing is both industry competitive based on top tier talent, equipment and customer service.

Big Sound:
This is a typical sound and lighting equipment setup configuration at a large event space. This setup happens to be at Meijer Gardens in the Grand Ballroom. The ideal space for this particular setup requires a footprint of 7ft deep by 16ft wide. With and dance floor lighting array of 10 different light fixtures on a 10ft wide truss system and two sub-woofer speaker complimented by two QSC K12 mid-range speakers. This configuration will make most any event totally rock!

Typical Wedding Sound and Light:
The equipment setup shown here was for a wedding event at The Downtown Market Place in Grand Rapids. With limited room and limited ceiling height, the dance floor lighting array is mounted on a single light stand with additional lights mounted under the mid-range speakers. Only one sub-woofer is required to fill the room with heart pounding bass. The space required for this configuration is 6ft deep by 14ft wide.

Ceremony Sound:
Here is an example of an outdoor Ceremony (from the vantage point of the DJ mixer setup) at the Meijer Gardens venue showing the guests seating relative to the two QSC speakers on both sides of the Officiant projecting sound toward the guest without generating feedback. Feedback from speakers during a Ceremony is uncomfortable for everyone and a real distraction. Placement of the speakers, in combination of an investment in high-quality microphone equipment is essential to insure ideal amplification for the speaker (Officiant) and music.

More Ceremony Setup:
Ceremony equipment setup at an outdoor venue here at (Camp Blodgett) has two Mackie mid-range speakers projecting from the front where the Officiant will stand facing the guest seating area. Two speakers were used in this case, but one could have been just as effective given the size of the venue. The Officiant was provided a lapel mic for speaking which was very effective in eliminating the wind noise coming off from Lake Michigan in the foreground.
